Writing Rules
Manuscript Formatting Guidelines:
- Manuscript Size: Manuscripts should be prepared in A4 size format.
- Structure: Follow the standard structure of scientific articles, including Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, and References.
- Word Limit: The manuscript should be concise and informative, typically ranging from 2500 to 6000 words, excluding references and tables.
- Tables and Figures: Tables and figures must be included within the manuscript and numbered consecutively. Ensure that figures and tables are clear, relevant, and properly labeled.
Text Formatting:
- Font: Use a clear, professional font Times Roman
- Font Size: The main text should be in 12-point font size. Headings in 14-point for clarity.
- Line Spacing: Maintain a 1.5 line spacing throughout the manuscript for better readability.
- Title: Title should be brief, descriptive, and centered on the page.
References:
- Citation Style: Follow AMA style guidelines for citations and references.
- In-text Citations: Use numerical superscript for in-text citations that correspond to numbered references in the bibliography.
- Reference List: Include a separate reference list at the end of the manuscript, listed numerically in the order of appearance in the text.
Submission and Publication Fees:
- Fee Exemption: Authors are exempt from any submission or publication fees. There are no charges for processing, reviewing, or publishing manuscripts.
- Payment Policy: The Luxembourg Journal of Medical Sciences does not require any payments from authors at any stage of the publication process.
